How to Enter the contest when you get there

Entry is on a first come first serve basis, there is no booking required.

Bring your dog or dogs along on the day to my stand, ask for a ticket unique entry number(UEN) and fill out the register, which asks you to write down the UEN, breed of your dog, its name, your family name and email address and/or phone number.

With your assistance, Art will then pose your dog in the field studio he has prepared, whilst you engage its attention for Art to capture their portrait.

He will take about 6 to 10 images which he will study on his camera, and if he feels that he has a viable image for you to proceed to make a contest entry, he will affirm this and you can then proceed to pay your £5 entry fee and write your UEN, your dogs name, your family name and address on the envelope provided for your print. See example below:

You will receive your 5" x7" Chrystal Archive print by post in this envelope so please write it in clearly in capital letters. You will receive this back within 10 days of the voting closure date of the 22nd July, containing your print.

The winner will be announced on this Blog just as soon as the results have been counted and independently verified.
The Winner will then be contacted by Art and asked to select an image of their dog from the on-line gallery to have produced as a Giclée Fine Art Print. When their Prize has been produced, inspected and signed off as a limited edition by the photographer, they will be notified and arrange with Art a time and location convenient to them when Art may personally deliver their prize, or arrange carriage.

IMPORTANTIn the event that the contest fails to achieve sufficient patronage on the day to sustain the contest, your entry fee will be refunded in full in the envelope provided and your pets portrait will be posted onto the On-Line Gallery where you may view it and if you wish order prints.
